But then again, how cunning must one be to escape the dungeon's walls and how reckless must one be to gather and command the worst scum of the realms? She needs to recruit an army of Sellswords and rally the Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes around her. She intends to break out of prison and overthrow Marwan to claim the throne herself. She is neither fond nor proficient in matters of diplomacy or politics, so she chooses a more. First of all, she spends her days incarcerated in a dungeon and secondly, there is already a man on her throne: Marwan. Unfortunately, there are two problems that potentially foil her plans. Some of the tweaks do mange to make character management more accessible and the combat system more fluid, however other changes have hampered the pace of the game, with an interface that is still. Cassia, a young woman of noble descent, has only one goal: She wants to claim the Shark Throne, no matter the price and be it only for one day. Blackguards 2 promised a simpler, more streamlined approach to the rules, and added features that broke the linear progression in the first game. The Vanquishers of the Nine Hordes long parted ways but life in Aventuria went on. Three years have passed since Count Uria´s plots. Every action has consequences, so make your decisions wisely. I would rather pass a turn or two and rip off another frenzy or heal spell than do a ranged or melee attack that does minimal damage.Blackguards 2 is the sequel of the turn-based strategy-RPG and will deliver more hexfield battles and an even grittier story filled with violence and crime.Ĭhoose your playstyle: no matter if front line combat monster, mage or ranged fighter it's in your hands how you want to develop your character. Having 2 mages cast it each round at maximum range means that you can just sit back, relax and enjoy watching the enemies rip each other apart.Įdit: I have not worried about any weapon skills yet, I have level 2 dodge to avoid being hit and just equip the weapon with the best astral regeneration boost on it. Once again frenzy is really OP when dealing with enemy mages or other very damaging foes. spells are, level 2 wrath of elements (for Aoe knockdown), level 3 heal (no brainer), level 2 speed boost (when you need to get into or out of a fight quickly), and perhaps the most useful spell level 1 frenzy. My build so far, I have maxed out her astral points, astral regeneration and range. In BG 1 almost all attack spells were useless and you had to rely on debuffing enemies or buffing your own guys. ![]() Since in this one you can have a mage who wears metal armour, as well as the ranged and melee combat being nuked, using her as a mage is probabily a good idea.Īs far as spells some are really OP while others are useless. ![]()
